Believe it or not . . . it just doesn't work that way! What really happens is NOTHING! IF you are placing ads to sign-up new recruits with no work and no investment - it is just wasted time and effort on your part. Here's why it doesn't work!
- MONEY! Where will your profits come from if NOBODY invests money in your program? There won't be any profits! The money has got to come from somewhere. A good mlm program (and there are many available) will offer an excellent product at a reasonable price. You must invest your money on a monthly basis in order for any mlm program to work properly. Think about it for a moment and you'll agree - if no one spends any money - there will be no profits for you or anyone else in the program. Simple, isn't it! Shop around and find a program with a reasonable monthly investment and a product you can use - monthly.
- RECRUITING! Why should your sponsor or anyone else recruit your downline for you? The same amount of effort will build their first level and help them to grow. While it is true that your sponsor may help you recruit - after he/she sees you are serious about working the program. This means simply - if you are buying and using the products and services and if you are working to recruit new people into your downline - it will benefit your sponsor to help you recruit.
- EDUCATION! You can not expect to succeed in any business unless you have knowledge about that business. You should learn as much as possible about your mlm program. Every company has materials available to help you become knowledgeable about their program. You should also learn about Multi-Level Marketing/Networking in general. You become much more competent and certain about your abilities if you know what you are talking about! This mean spending some time learning your business.
- TIME! It will take time to develop your business! This doesn't mean that you sign up today and in two weeks you're rich! Time enters into your career program in two ways. (1) The amount of time you spend daily, developing your business. (2) The length of time it will take you to develop a successful mlm business. It will not be overnight! You should dedicate a minimum of two years to developing your mlm business. This means paying for, and using your products every month for two years. Cost you some money? Certainly! However, if you work your program properly - you will be making a lot more than you have spent in developing your business.
- GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER! Find your program and stick with it! Too many would be millionaires jump from one program to another and never find success in any program. They blame the program instead of themselves. MLM is a great career and you can earn lots of money if you are successful. You will only get out of it what you put into it. Your success depends on you and you alone. No one can be blamed for your failure but you . . . and no one can take credit for your success but you.
There are two very simple rules that you must follow to be successful in MLM.
1) Buy and use the product yourself! (How and why would you sell a product that you did not believe in enought to use it yourself.) This is the part you take care of . . .2) Find others to buy and use the product themselves. (You don't want distributers under you that don't believe enough in the product to use it . . . do you?) That's it! That is all it takes to be successful. Find you a product that you can buy and use because you believe in it . . . then introduce it to others who have a need for it. It takes time, don't quit after the first week. If you have the right product, that benefits you . . . use it! Your downline will grow in time.
